What is Culture ? Culture is an integrated pattern of human knowledge, belief, and behavior that depends upon the capacity for symbolic thought and social learnin  And now , i want to explain about culture in my town. Sumenep is one of four town in Madura island. According to me Sumenep is very beautifull and wonderfull  town because in sumenep is more completed . Sumenep has some culture , place for tourism , airport , port, and many historic place other. When i was child i often ventured on some beautifull place in sumenep such as asta tinggi , lombang beach , salopeng beach , musium , keraton , pendopo and more.

Lombang  is biggest than beach other in this town lombang located near dungkek countryside. This beach famous because in this beach there are many casuarina tree. Casuarina tree are make few leaves only.

Arround beach is also many people are selling food. The surging waves, beautiful sand, making the beach is a beautiful. Besides beaches, there is also a place called "high asta". This place is very famous, because it is the burial place of kings when it used to be. This place is very beautiful, but when they wanted to go to this place, we must be careful, because this place is very high. On top of this place we could see the city Sumenep, where, the city which is one of the resorts in Indonesia.

Traditional ceremonies are still preserved until this day is a Nyadar Ceremony. A conviction where the throw as “seserahan” into the sea. According to local people, the ceremony is useful to ask for prayers and fortune to the ancestors. Beside that , many historical item , which owned the king ahead , are there in musium and pendopo . So that , come on we are preserve our culture in each area.
