How To Treats Notebook Battery

Notebook battery treatment is important to keep it’s lifetime. This is some tips that helps you treat your notebook battery.
1. New battery needs to be fully charged before use
Some charge/discharge cycles needed to get optimum capacity. Charger usage that didn’t appropriate with recommended guide could broke the battery or the notebook. High temperature could decrease battery lifetime. The recommended temperature is about 5 to 40 celcius degree.
2. Battery capacity will draining automatically while not in use in a long time.
Charge the unused battery once in a month to prevent permanent breakage.
3. While notebook is at stand by/off state, don’t let the notebook connected to the electricity power after fully charged.
This could break/decreasing battery lifetime because the battery will be charged continuously. Only allowed when the notebook is in use. In this case, the charging process will be longer than usual, about 2 hours longer than normal charging. Do a battery recycling at least once in a mont or when you feel your battery capacity is lower than usual.

How To Create Virtual Host in WAMP

You probably want to host multiple test websites on your machine. By default, WAMP isn’t really set up for this, but a few relatively simple changes to the httpd.conf and hosts file will remedy this.
Make sure that ‘LoadModule vhost_alias_module modules/mod_vhost_alias.so‘ has been uncommented in the httpd.conf file.
At the bottom of your httpd.conf file, add the following…

# include the server name in the filenames used to satisfy requests
VirtualDocumentRoot C:/wamp/www/%0
#VirtualScriptAlias C:/wamp/www/hosts/%0/cgi-bin

This is assuming that you installed WAMP with the default settings.

Open up your www folder (C:\wamp\www) and create a new website folder.

Hit start, open up the following file with notepad ’C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts’ and add the following line to the bottom:

127.0.0.1 sitename (whatever you named the folder above)

That’s all, now you have your own virtual host in WAMP! Hope it helps… :)

Knowing Your “Pirated” Movie Quality

I like movies, especially when it’s new and free. Sometimes I download it from the internet illegally or just copy it from my friends. But when you see the file name, there is some code after the movies name, like: “Adv.Of.Tin2.BRRip72.mkv” did you know what’s that bolded text mean? It means the quality of the movie’s picture is Blu Ray Rip 720p, which means that the movie is the ripped version of the Blu-Ray quality movie. Wanna know more?

Here is some quality what I knew (correct me if I’m wrong):
1. CAM
This is the worst ever movie quality, this movie usually come from recorded movie in cinema, the sound is captured from handycam built-in microphone, so please understanding if the sound of the other spectator captured too or there are some annoying human shadow walks from right to left or left to right.
2. TS (Telesync)

The picture quality is the same as CAM, but the sound has been replaced with better quality.
3. R5

R5 is a DVD copy which has released in some country. This quality is good enough for watching.
5. DVD Screener DVD screener is a sample of the original movie which brought to movies rent/shop then played there as sample/demo. So, sometimes there is some watermarks from the studio production. Example: "This video belongs to Warner .Co blablabla".
6. DVDRip

DVDRip is a ripped version from the original DVD movie which has released then only rip the movies and sound from the original which has extra features, audio commentaries, etc. Picture and sound quality is as good as original one.
7. DVD Full
It’s the .iso’s file from the original DVD movie which has big size around 4GB, because of it’s complete content just like original DVD. There is nothing different in quality between this full DVD and ripped DVD movies.
8. Blu-Ray/HD-Rip 720p/1080p

Just like DVD Rip, this movie is ripped from original Blu-Ray disc, extra content is removed. Picture quality is the best among other type of “pirated” movies. But sometimes, the sound of this movie isn’t very loud to reduce it’s size.

How To Flash Your Symbian Phone

Have you seen people using phone with customized theme, startup, or theme effects on it? For example, there is an old Nokia 5230 phone, but after you try using it everything inside is feels like Nokia N97 phone (the newer phone with Symbian^3), including the homescreen, theme effect, startup screen, ringtones and even the keypad screen is same with N97 phone. And after you see the info on the phone, there is something written on it, yes it’s their own name! They must have customized their phone! Then how they could do that? Don’t you want to try to customize your phone to be like what you want? Then this tutorial might be help.

First of all, here is what you need (click its name to download):

Data Cable that suits for your symbian phone. It is needed to connect your phone to your PC.
J.A.F. by ODEON. This is the most important tool for this job, flashing process to your phone will be done with this software.
NFE (Nokia Firmware Editor). Use it for searching your phone original firmware and editing firmware (cooking).
Custom Firmware (if you download custom firmware from the net). Required files are :
MCU = *.c0r
PPM = *.rofs2
APE = *.uda

Then you’re ready to flash your phone. Just follow this step:

If you want to edit your own original phone firmware then open NFE that you’ve been downloaded. Then you need to download your original phone firmware by input your phone product code (usually found under your phone battery place).
After download your phone original firmware, you can edit/modify it yourself as you want, if you want more modification resource or support you can try ask on dailymobile forum.
Or if you have downloaded customized firmware from the net, you can just flash it to your phone. Please note that the RM-X code and firmware core must be the same as your phone. Example Nokia Custom Firmware v50.0.0.1 RM-588 can only be used in Nokia phone with same core version v50 and RM-588 type.
Now we can flash our customized firmware to our phone. Turn off your phone, then connect it to your PC with Data Cable.
Open J.A.F. that you’ve been downloaded before. Then open BB5 tab. Use manual flash method , as it is more effective. Manual Flash Method: Flashing with 3 files of your custom firmware.
1. Untick "use ini" and crt mode
2. Tick "dead usb", "manual flash" and "normal mode"
3. Rename your core file in the Products'.c00' to '.c0r'
4. Click on the green buttons likewise and select:
MCU = your core files with *.c0r extension
PPM = your custom firmware with *.rofs2 extension
APE = your additional firmware information with *.uda extension
Then click “FLASH” button on the upright side. There is a warning box, just click ok. Then you’ll asked to turn on your phone, just turn it on by pushing power button a while until the log box says that “Phone Found”.
Then all you need to do now is waiting until process finish. It takes only about 2 minutes. Then your phone will turn on with its new customized firmware!
