Use regular glass that has burnt until scorched (has residual carbon).

Use a bucket which was filled with water, you can see the
shadow of solar eclipse from the water.

Attention : Don't ever look directly at it! Not
with your eyes, binoculars, and certainly not with a telescope unless you have
proper optical filters.
